Jane’s Walk NYC, organized by the Municipal Art Society of New York, is the largest chapter of the festival anywhere in the world. Every year, MAS staff organize a fleet of volunteer walk leaders to create 200+ in-person, virtual, and on-demand walks with over 7,000 participants.

Bring your own food, snacks and bevs if you want to hang around the park. And a picnic blanket to sit on :)

Bring a bake, meet fellow bakers, and join us for a Central Park picnic filled with pastries and good conversation.
Perhaps it’s a recipe you want feedback on, or something you’ve been meaning to try but don’t have friends to share it with. This is the perfect excuse to bake and bring it along.
Plan for the Picnic:
• 11:00 - 11:30 AM: Arrival & Photo Taking of Pastries
• Every 20-30 minutes: Move around and mingle!
• Relax, chat, and enjoy pastries

We're BACK for the sixth edition of STAGE BREAK, the live reading series where EVERYONE reads!
Here’s how it works:
📖 4 fabulous writers will read 4 original short stories to a seated audience
🎲 Before each reading, 3 lucky audience members will be chosen at random to read the story on stage with the author!
🎩 You can put your name in a hat when you enter the venue if you’d like to read (this is OPTIONAL)
🤝 Stories will be read PAGE BREAK STYLE: in this case, 1 page at a time, alternating between the 4 readers on stage
📙 Everyone will receive an exclusive ZINE with the 4 stories printed in it, so you can follow along quietly from your seat. Just like the PAGE BREAK experience!
